Dr Ncala known as Nthabiseng, is a lecturer in Information Science at the Universityof South Africa (Unisa) since 2015. She holds a PhD in Information Science. Herresearch focused on the preservation management of audiovisual records atESARBICA. She earned her master’s in information studies from the University ofKwaZulu-Natal in 2018. Dr Nthabiseng is affiliated with major archival organizations,including:- International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA),International Council on Archives (ICA), and South African Society of Archivists(SASA) since 2014. Dr Nthabiseng has a diverse professional background spanningarchives and records management, banking, fashion design, events management,and teaching. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to preserving audiovisualheritage and fostering access to knowledge through both academia and communityservice.
