About me
Melanie Vargas Cintrón is an academic librarian at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She completed her studies at this institution, earning a bachelor’s degree in Information and Journalism and a master’s degree in Information Science. She currently works at the Puerto Rican Library and Newspaper Archive, where she provides information services and research support on topics related to Puerto Rico. Her work focuses on the management and development of the periodicals collection, as well as the care and handling of audiovisual archives.
