About me
Lelde Neimane is the Senior expert of the Audiovisual Archive of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and was the Curator and Head of the Audiovisual Archive until 2020. She graduated from the University of Latvia in 2001 with a master’s degree in history and has worked at the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia since 1998. Lelde Neimane works with oral history testimonies, focusing on people politically repressed by the Soviet and Nazi German occupational regimes, and her main interests include the history of the 20th century in Latvia. As part of her work, she works with various audiovisual carrier formats – Film (8mm), Audio cassettes, VHS, S-VHS, MiniDV, and digital recordings.
