About me
Independent conservator. She holds a diploma in the Preservation of Photographic, Sound and Audiovisual Collections from the National School of Restoration and Museography from Ibermemoria. She was awarded a scholarship to the Film Preservation & Restoration School Latin America by the International Federation of Film Archives.She was a teacher on the Diploma in Audiovisual Preservation and Restoration at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She has undertaken training placements at ENCRyM, the Photographic Archive of the Institute of Aesthetic Research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the UNAM Film Library and the National Film Archive of Mexico.As a researcher, she has published in academic journals such as Telón de Fondo, Vivomatografias: revista precine y cine silente, and in the publication Pericón: ¡Aura! with the chapter ‘Pericón y Cine’ by invitation of the Uruguayan Ministry of Culture.She acts as a consultant to public archives and private collections, including the Neuquén and Entre Ríos Film Archives, the Mar del Plata Audiovisual Archive, and the Narcisa Hirsch Filmotheque of experimental cinema.She is co-coordinator of the Commission on Archives and Audiovisual Heritage of the Argentine Association for Film and Audiovisual Studies (AsAECA).
