About me
Ms. Lufuno Kgamedi, an Archivist with sixteen years of experience, began her career in 2009 at the National Archives of South Africa, where she developed her expertise and passion for preserving archival records. In 2013, she joined the University of South Africa (Unisa) Library (Archives Division), where she now administers, organises, and preserves valuable academic and historical records to ensure their accessibility for future generations. Her academic qualifications include a Master of Information Science, an Honours Degree in Archival Science, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Science, along with additional specialised programs in archival studies, highlighting her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Currently pursuing a PhD at Unisa, Ms. Kgamedi is further expanding her research and contributions to archival science, making her a highly valued member of the archival community.
