About me
Judith Opoku-Boateng is University Archivist at the University of Ghana, where she leads the development and coordination of the University’s archival systems. With over two decades of experience in audiovisual heritage preservation, she has led major initiatives in audiovisual preservation, including the Heritage Photo Lab (HPL), the Making African Academic Resources Accessible (MAARA) project, and the Living Archives oral history programme. A former Vice President of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA), she is an active contributor to global discourse on archival activism, restitution, and inclusive preservation, with numerous international presentations and publication
