About me
Since 2019, coordinator of the Archivo Vivo y Memoria programme at the Gerencia de Artes Audiovisuales del Idartes – Cinemateca de Bogotá. Member of the International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) and the International Council on Archives (ICA). He holds a Master's in Libraries, Archives and Digital Continuity from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a Bachelor of Built Environment (Architecture) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia, and a postgraduate diploma in Documentary Production from Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano. His work focuses on audiovisual conservation, the preservation of interactive works, and technological appropriation. He has advised the Colombian Ministry of Culture on audiovisual heritage, served as academic coordinator of the postgraduate diploma in Audiovisual Heritage Management at Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano, and works as an independent consultant on audiovisual conservation and digital preservation projects.
