About me
- I am a Burkinabè audiovisual professional and a Master’s student in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies. My work is situated at the intersection of film, project management, and cultural development, with a particular focus on the role of audiovisual media in preserving cultural identity and supporting social change in West Africa.Through both my academic training and practical experience, I have developed skills in audiovisual production and a strong interest in the challenges of archiving and safeguarding audiovisual heritage in resource-constrained environments. My research focuses on the Burkinabè film industry, exploring production dynamics, audience engagement, and the structural challenges facing the sector.I am particularly interested in the preservation of audiovisual memory in fragile contexts, the resilience of digital archives, and the ethical implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in media. I aim to contribute to international discussions by bringing African perspectives into global debates on archives, identity, and authenticity
