About me
Alexander Kavtaradze, based in Tbilisi (Georgia), holds a DPhil/PhD in Cultural Studies on the topic, “On the edge of time, space and memory: The Udis of Georgia and Azerbaijan”. His research focuses on the Udis and their historic homeland, Caucasian Albania. He serves as an invited lecturer at Ilia State University (Tbilisi, Georgia), where he teaches a course on the history of Georgia’s ethnic and religious diversity. He is also a co-founder of the community organisation “Georgian Udis“, which carries out socio-cultural and educational projects in the only Udi village of Georgia – Zinobiani.
