About me
Mariana Páez is the director of the Mauricio A. López Library and Documentation Center in Mendoza, Argentina. As director, she oversees an archive pertaining to ecumenical thought, feminism and liberation theology. The archive includes collections relating to the following figures: leading figure in liberation theology and philosophy, Enrique Dussel, philosopher and pastor Mauricio Amílcar López; theologian Oscar "Braquio" Bracelis, Grupo Ecuménico de Mujeres (in Cuyo), theologian and activist Alieda Verhoeven, Grupo Ecuménico de Mujeres, and the collection of the Comité Ecuménico de Acción Social. Through her work with Dussell’s personal collection, she worked directly with the theologian to ensure his works remained in Mendoza after his political exile.
